CSI globalVCard™ Mobile App Sets The Stage For Mobile Wallet Technology At The Largest Consumer Electronics Show In History

CSI globalVCard™ was a hot topic not only for intrigued media but also inquiring business professionals that traveled from near and abroad to see the latest and greatest technology innovations offered to the consumer market.
This year’s CES Conference boasts a record breaking 153,000 attendees with 1.6M square feet of exhibition space. The globalVCard team gave live app demos with special guest iCan, The Showbot. CSI GlobalVCard was introduced as a B2B application in September 2011 and plans to launch end of Q2 2012 to the consumer market armed with more defined merchant categories, VCard image customizations, batch VCard creation, real-time reporting, recipient VCard balance and details, add recipient from mobile device contact list and capture photo receipt. Built-in NFC capabilities will be revealed end of Q3 2012.

The app has custom control features which include the ability to set profiles specific to employees by merchant category group, dollar amount and/or transaction limit as well as view or block existing cards. These specific purchase restrictions are also perfect for parents sharing virtual cards with a child. Convenience features of the app include the ability to copy and paste card account details within a smartphone/tablet browser to enhance the online purchase experience.
