As we look back on 2022, we have a lot to be proud of and many successes to share, even as we faced unexpected challenges.
Women’s History Month
CSI celebrated Women’s History Month in March by highlighting women in Fintech. We are incredibly proud of our female colleagues and their varied experiences and backgrounds that contribute to our growth in the Fintech industry.
A Small Set Back . . .
In March, just as we thought we were clear of Covid-19 and its new normal, another wave of a Covid variant hit. So we felt it was safer to move our planned in-person Advisory Board event to a virtual format. We missed seeing so many of our key clients and partners face-to-face. But the virtual meetings still provided a lot of input for our planning.
With a Quick Recovery
Luckily, we sponsored and attended several in-person tradeshows throughout the year. The tradeshows spanned across our main business line verticals and, though there are too many to name, included:

Enrich Connections. For good.
As an Edenred company, we strive to achieve Edenred’s purpose, which is to “Enrich connections. For good.” CSI’s charitable work throughout the year reflects our commitment to this purpose and our community.
In February, CSI helped brighten the day for the kids at St. Jude’s by sending virtual Valentine’s Day cards. On June 21st, we celebrated the 6th edition of Idealday, which brought together 10,000 Edenred employees in 45 countries for a day of volunteering and support of charitable programs within local communities. CSI members split into two teams that volunteered at the Harry Chapin Food Bank in Naples, FL, and at the Community Cooperative in Ft. Myers.
The food banks provide meals for families in need to help alleviate hunger and homelessness. Edenred’s CEO, Bertrand Dumazy, and COO of Payment Solutions and New markets, Gilles Coccoli joined in the activities. We sincerely enjoy participating in Idealday and contributing to our local food banks.
CSI employees logged over 1,200 volunteer hours for the year and contributed about $1,300 to local communities.
New Employee Benefits
Because philanthropy is so vital to CSI, we created Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to cover the time employees use to volunteer. CSI also initiated paid Parental Leave to allow CSI employees time to care for their family following the birth or adoption of a child.
A Natural Disaster
Hurricane Ian devastated the west coast of southern Florida in late September. Luckily, our head office located in Bonita Springs was spared. However, several members of our team suffered damages and losses. The CSI family came together to support all who were affected by the storm and ensured that everyone was safe and had accommodations. And members of the team that were not affected worked overtime to make sure that payment services for our clients continued uninterrupted.
New Additions
We added a few fun new videos to our collection. They describe our payments solutions in the various industries that CSI collaborates with regularly. Though, we plan on expanding our industry list with new products and services that we also introduced this year.
In May, Eric Riddle, CSI’s Executive Vice President, introduced a new payment solution at Nacha’s Smarter Faster Payments 2022. He announced the upcoming release of a working capital solution that will be available for CSI customers and their suppliers. CSI is currently developing this supply chain finance service to help improve the cash conversion cycle for its customers. The solution is being beta tested within a small group and looks promising for a Q1 general release.
We Saved the Best for Last!
All of the new additions to our CSI family have been instrumental in helping to push us forward and to continue improving our innovations.
